Quran VersesThe Quran (meaning "the recitation") is the central religious text of Islam. Muslims believe that the Quran is a revelation from God (Allah). It was revealed to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel. The chapters in the religious text are called suras and the verses are called ayahs. The Quran is believed to be the only revealed book that has been protected by God from corruption.
