The Bhagavad Gita means "The Song of the Lord."  It is the best known of all the Hindu scriptures.  The Bhagavad Gita takes place on a battlefield and follows the warrior Arjuna and his spiritual guide, Sir Krishna as they discuss the fundamental questions of life.  The Gita is made up of 700 verses and is part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata.
